Another New Year Begins

It is with great joy that we enter the New Year of 2011.

The ETCC and OFCOM pulled out all the stops with the last minute approval of GB3NA.

Many thanks to all concerned with the GB3YR / GB3NA NoV application.

However the information on ukrepeater.net is slightly misleading.

“In a last minute clearance of 2010 OFCOM issued the NoV to allow GB3NA to be resited at Barnsley on RV49
The D-Star repeater GB7YD remains at the Rotherham site for the time being with the VHF node on RV54

Keeper is Ernie, G4LUE and more information from SYRG

GB3NA now resides at IO93HM alongside GB3SY.

GB7YD UHF and VHF modulesĀ  remain in situ at Brierely in Barnsley alongside the as yet non-operational GB3HF, IO93HN.

HAPPY NEW YEAR TO ALL OUR READERS, RF USERS, SHORT WAVE LISTENERS & EVERYONE ELSE!
