Hi all,
Can anyone tell me a program that will read and let me alter the text inside the icf files before uplading it to the ic 2820
Help would be appreciated as i am a new user

the obvious choice would be icoms CS2820 software.

Hi Ive just found this programme called chirp on a VK web site

PLEASE NOTE IVE NOT TRIED IT - SO CANT COMMENT ON IF IT WILL WORK OK OR NOT!
I have the free icom download for my e880. So dont know how effective it may be. But it May be an alterantive to the icom software which you have to buy & if your on a budget it may BE USEFUL & do the trick.
