Here’s some test footage from the video camera of our robot which will shortly reside at the GB7YD site.
He’s been kindly donated to the group by Host Yorkshire Internet and can be controlled by the group via the WIFI access point on the farm through the internet.
The robot is still in testing stage by members of the group and will be available for control by visitors to this web site shortly.

This is a call sign the show cleared for use on air. "XTT" is a bit of a private joke as Tim's character name on "Home Improvement" was Tim Taylor. So, ex T. T. In the show’s radio inventory is currently an ICOM IC-9100 HF radio, an IC-92AD dual band, hand-held, a Heil PR-781microphone, a Daiwa CN-801HP SWR/Power meter a Comet CAA-500 antenna analyzer and a Iambic CW Paddle.

The robot can’t cook, clean or pick up your dirty washing. However one advantage is that it does have an off switch! Hi Hi
Time dependent tomorrow we will test the robot on the site WIFI access point and if things are good we may leave it in the barn overnight to do a little rat spotting.
We will be issuing passwords out shortly to those who have commented on the robot so you too can have a go.
