Friedrichshafen Hamfest 2011

The time is almost upon us and preperations are afoot for our roving reporter Ernie G4LUE to make the pilgrimage to the Messe Friedrichshafen again. Ernie will be photographing the event from setting up to the closing of doors.

Amateur Radio Exhibition 2011 promises activities for ALL and we feel that there is no better way for SYRG to share the Friedrichsafen experience with you all than through pictures. You can see Ernies photographs as they come into our  GALLERIES

From Friday, 24 June until Sunday, 26 June 2011, HAM RADIO is the place to be for amateur radio operators from all over the world.

Don’t just take our word for it….take the journey yourself. Below are a few extracts from visitor comments in 2010.

Michael Bürck and Gerold Geipert, Kenwood Electronics Deutschland GmbH

“We were pleasantly surprised by the number of visitors here at our stand, which exceeded the numbers from the previous year. We are launching two new products and were pleased about the excellent response. The HAM RADIO is still the number one amateur radio exhibition in Europe by a large margin, which was confirmed again this year.”

Kazue Shimoda, chief executive of the Super Techno Corporation from Japan
“We were very satisfied with the HAM RADIO 2010. We are able to meet extremely friendly visitors from all over the world here, who are interested in our antenna towers. We already sold our exhibition piece to a Spaniard on the very frist day. We will definitely be coming back again next year.”

Gianfranco Maciocci, General Manager Sommerkamp Communications GmbH

“We have noticed a slight increase in the number of visitors to our booth in comparison to last year and are very pleased. Ourmain objective is to present the world premiers of Yaesu.

Sabaan Mismar Al-Jassim, General Secretary Qatar Amateur Radio Society
We were impressed with HAM RADIO because visitors came here to exchange ideas and talk about their future projects. It was quite remarkable to see so many children at the trade show.”
