Look, Listen, Touch the World of Digital Communications
South Yorkshire Repeater Group are proud to announce that they have managed to secure a small funding pot to deliver basic instruction in digital communications. SYRG plan to undertake hands on sessions with interested groups, organisations and individuals.
Delivered within the community throughout the summer we plan to bring digital communications, at a simple level, to anyone who wants to “look, listen and touch”.
The budget covers test equipment, wifi kit, lecturing expenses, room hire and will enable us to host sessions as well as take them out into the community. The group already have some D-Star equipment. This alongside the test equipment, cabling and assembly tools will enable interested parties to undertake some real hands on digital age communications.
