This evening SYRG delivered our 5000th download of our range of ICF files.
These are available to you for FREE in the SYRG charity shop. All you need to do is add them to your basket and checkout. No credit card required!
The range of Icom D-STAR enabled radios can be quite complex to program manually unless you know the radio inside out and the way D-STAR works too.
Unless your are plain stupid or skint, the best way to tackle this without giving up is to buy yourself a programming cable and the software. Then you can see and begin to understand how the radio actually works.
When you are presented with an excell type spreadsheet of what’s going off in the radio, you will quickly discover that it’s much easier than you first thought.
Why not download one or all of our FREE ICF files to have a play around with and get to grips with your icom radio.

Following on from the icom E92 & 2200h files added a few weeks ago, we now have a Beginners e91 icf file too.
Help is at hand for all users of the South Yorkshire Repeater Group and our repeaters on both analogue and digital. YES! You can have the best on analogue and D-STAR if you download our beginners ICF file for your IC-91. Someone else has taken the time to package a nice simple easy to use icf file for any D-Star users that may require it.
Our beginners ICF file includes all you need to access our analogue repeaters and the GB7YD D-STAR system, plus simplex on both 2m and 70 cms analogue. We have even included the D-STAR agreed simplex calling frequencies on 2 and 70.
This downloadable zip file also includes an all important PDF guide so you know what is programmed on the memory banks for easy operation. Ca-Ching!
This latest file is available for direct download FREE of charge in the shop.We should have an 880 ICF file available shortly.
